Have you visited a Michelin Certified Centre?

Some of you may be lucky enough to have dined in a Michelin Star restaurant, but have you ever given your vehicle some TLC at a Michelin Certified Centre? To achieve Michelin Certified status, a tyre dealer must display high standards in all areas of their business. We are pleased to announce that our sister company, Tyremen, has been awarded this coveted accreditation.

The accreditation doesn’t just cover customers that go into a Tyremen branch, it also covers their website as customers can benefit from their expertise and advice online too.

The criteria for becoming a Michelin Certified Centre are very strict. One aspect that tyre dealers are judged on is their workshop and buildings. Their premises, equipment, tyre fitting, tyre removal, balancing, wheel fitting, examinations, minor repairs, alignment and environmental disposal should all be up to scratch and are rigorously scrutinised by Michelin.

They must also ensure that levels of customer service are top notch too, including telephone technique, technical advice, quoting, invoicing, explanation of work carried out, care of vehicles and reception area.

Michelin has established this accreditation process so they can direct their customers to centres that will provide a high standard of service.

When you take your tyres to a certified centre, you know you’re going to a trustworthy dealer and will receive great service, just like you know you are in for a treat if you dine in a Michelin Star restaurant!
