Hyundai I10

Gone are the days when cars from Japan and Korea came with the worst of reputations. With investments from some of the big motor companies, this has seen Hyundai turn into an alternative mid priced car for those on a budget.

So why should it not have a quality tyre? It has all the comforts of a more ‘expensive’ brand and the build quality, with a 7 year warranty, it demands the right tyre.

Coming in 13″ and 14″ wheel sizes, they come with either the K715 or the K415 tyre.

The K715 Optimo is a T or H rated tyre, click here for ratings, and is a general performance tyre made with small and compact cars in mind. A very standard looking tyre with four clear channels for dispersing water, the tread is designed for low road noise and a comfortable drive.

The next choice of tyre is the K415 Optimo which is an H rated tyre.

This is a high performance tyre designed with dry/wet handling and water evacuation in mind. As you can see, there is plenty of grooves in the tyre and this helps to provide a smooth ride bringing noise levels down.

For a small tyre, it has all the attributes of a larger performance tyre, this really is a good one to fit to your car.

Of course, you don’t have to replace the tyres like for like, there are other options out there. But, for the quality, performance and ratings, then why spend premium money, when you a premium tyre for mid-range prices.
